And He loves the pharisee
All of us have sinned, there's no exclusivity
Grace will abound where the sinner is found
Tell the meek to get off of their high horse
There's plenty to go around x2

In Matthew chapter 9 Jesus dined with the sinners but the dimmer ones were the pharisees
When they questioned our Lord about how He could eat with the ones who have sinned
Did it ever even occur to them
That He came for the sick, and their pride made them iller
So He dined all the time in the homes of these hypo-
Crits like a hippogriff in hieroglyphs I can't understand the myth
That He came for the healthy and wealthy,
We're all ailing in our filth
I know that's a hard pill
The religious and the sinner without Christ are equal still
From the regal to the people who are treated worse than fecal
We're all equal in our evil and we're feeble in our skill

A man named Nicodemus came to Jesus in the night/
Thought the cover of the darkness would be saving his life/
Jesus replied to his statements told him to be born again/
The reason is because this pharisee was born in sin/
Jesus remarked how man loves the dark cuz it hides our wicked deeds, and it wasn't lost on this pharisee/
Then in chapter 7 and 19/ he came back on the scene/ defending the galilean/ and keeping His dead body clean/ with the aramithean/ May I suggest
he took heed to the words he heard and it spurred a change in his chest/
And he got John 3:16 drilled in his head, in the darkness understood the words that Jesus had said/
